Sarda sarda Blue along the upper back with 7 or more oblique darker stripes. Stripes are hard to see on young fish. Large scales (corselet) along body. Maximum size 3 ft 19 lbs. EDIBLE
Commonly confused with the Little Tunny (or False Albacore).
